A rewarding leadership opportunity is now available for an experienced Registered Nurse to step into the role of Associate Nurse Unit Manager - Endoscopy within the Perioperative Department at a hospital in Melbourne. This is a fixed-term, full-time position (76 hours per fortnight), working 9 days per fortnight. The roster includes a mix of 10-, 8-, and 6-hour shifts, thoughtfully designed to support a healthy work-life balance.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This position will be pivotal in helping to manage the day-to-day functioning of the Theatre Department as well as being responsible for your assigned portfolio, and engaging with all key stakeholders. You will join a high-performing team and a workplace with relationships built on mutual trust and respect. The role will allow you to work together with a supportive Leadership Team where we value our people and provide the opportunity to grow and develop as a leader in a friendly, supportive team environment.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Current Registration with AHPRA;
  • Demonstrated leadership skills;
  • A minimum of three years' experience in the Operating Theatre;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • The ability to engage with all key stakeholders.
