New opportunities have arisen for an experienced and motivated Endoscopy Nurse to join a busy and supportive perioperative services team at a private hospital in Brisbane.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced environment that values teamwork, patient-centred care, safety, and continuous improvement. As an Endoscopy Nurse, you will play an integral role in delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing diagnostic endoscopic procedures.
Your duties and responsibilities will involve, but are not limited to:
- Providing safe, evidence-based nursing care across all stages of the patient journey;
- Assisting with endoscopic procedures;
- Working collaboratively with gastroenterologists, anaesthetists, and the multidisciplinary team;
- Supporting patient education, recovery, and discharge planning;
- Participating in quality improvement and accreditation activities;
- Contributing to a positive and supportive team culture.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current AHPRA registration;
- Previous experience in Endoscopy or Perioperative Nursing;
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- A commitment to patient safety and high-quality care;
- Flexibility and a team-focused attitude.

REMUNERATION
$41.49 - $66.23 per hour.

The hospital, located in the South East of Brisbane, has 120 inpatient Surgical and Medical beds, a rehabilitation gym, 7 operating theatres, 2 procedure rooms, a day oncology unit, and an ICU; the facility provides care to the local community for over 40 years and continually embraces the highest quality of holistic patient care.
