Exciting opportunities are available for skilled, motivated Registered Nurses to join a close-knit Cath Lab team on a casual basis at a private hospital in Melbourne.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will work closely with highly skilled Cardiologists, Vascular surgeons, and Radiologists to provide the best care for patients.
As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering safe, evidence-based standards of nursing care;
- Collaborating with the Cath Lab team on Left Heart Catheterisations, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Electrophysiology Ablations, Pacemaker Implants, and Vascular and Interventional Radiology procedures;
- Leading quality improvement and safety management projects to achieve desired outcomes;
- Working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs;
- Acting as a role model for safe clinical practice;
- Mentoring Graduate Nurses and students during their clinical rotations.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current Registration with AHPRA;
- Minimum 1-2 years' clinical experience in Cath Lab;
- Flexibility to work across a range of shifts and on call;
- Bachelor of Nursing;
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards;
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement;
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high-functioning team.

REMUNERATION
Salaries range between $35.33 and $47.25 per hour.
