Assistant Nurse Unit Manager – ENT | Melbourne

A leadership opportunity is now available for two Assistant Nurse Unit Managers to join the Plastic Surgery and Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) Department at a private hospital in Melbourne. These permanent, full-time positions offer the opportunity to join the dedicated team on the Theatre Ward.

The successful candidate will have management aspirations or prior experience to step into a key leadership role. You will be able to work collaboratively and consult with doctors to ensure that best practices and patient outcomes are achieved. In the ANUM role, you will report to and assist the Nurse Unit Manager in the day-to-day running of the ward, you will liaise between surgeons and patients, and ensure an excellent standard of care. The flexibility to work 7-day rotating shifts, including weekend and night shifts, will also be key for this role.

• Current registration with AHPRA;
• Minimum three (3) years' nursing experience in an acute setting and/or rehabilitation setting;
• Clinical leadership experience or post graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded;
• Current or previous experience working in a rehabilitation unit desired;
• Demonstrated personal commitment to ongoing professional development.

REMUNERATION 

On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $57.44 - $59.33 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
