Associate Nurse Unit Manager – Perioperative | Melbourne

• Current Registration with AHPRA;
• Recent experience within Perioperative Services;
• Demonstrated experience in Scrub/Scout, Anaesthetics or PACU;
• Strong clinical knowledge and patient assessment skills;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
• A commitment to patient safety, quality improvement and service excellence;
• The ability to mentor, develop and support team members;
• Minimum 5 years' perioperative nursing experience;
• Well-developed leadership and interpersonal skills;
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate clinical activities and manage competing priorities;
• Understanding of NSQHS Standards and contemporary perioperative practice;
• Commitment to ongoing professional development;
• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role (desirable);
• Postgraduate qualification in Perioperative Nursing or related specialty (desirable);
• Experience participating in accreditation activities (desirable);
• Knowledge of workforce planning, rostering and clinical governance processes.
