Excellent opportunities exist for experienced and passionate Registered Midwives to join the team and work in a dynamic Birth Suite at a private hospital in Newcastle. There are permanent full-time and part-time roles available.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will have the opportunity to also work across the Antenatal Ward, Postnatal Ward and recently renovated Special Care Nursery on a rotational basis. Working alongside highly skilled midwives, consultant obstetricians, paediatricians, educators and lactation consultants, you'll be part of a supportive and close-knit team providing exceptional care to women and families.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife;
- Current NSW Working with Children Check;
- Demonstrated experience working in a similar role.

REMUNERATION
$39.09 - $54.89 per hour.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, located in Newcastle, is a 189-bed, acute, private facility with 11 theatres, including a hybrid theatre and a 15-bed Intensive Care Unit. The Maternity Unit comprises a Birthing Suite, Maternity Ward, and Special Care Nursery. Birthing Suite has 6 rooms on the ground floor, with Croudace Operating Theatres adjacent. The Maternity Ward encompasses 38 beds combined with antenatal and postnatal rooms.
