Assistant Nurse Unit Manager – ENT Scrub Scout | Melbourne

A pivotal leadership opportunity is now available for a highly experienced ENT Scrub/Scout Nurse seeking to step into a leadership role. This position is within the Operating Theatres department at a private hospital in Melbourne and is offered as a permanent, full-time role.

Working closely with the Nurse Unit Manager, you will contribute to the day-to-day operational management of the Unit, including rostering, driving staff development, and providing hands-on clinical support to staff. You will be a passionate mentor to your team and have the capacity to inspire them to succeed. This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your leadership capabilities and grow your career within a collaborative Theatre environment.

• Current registration with AHPRA;
• Minimum of five (5) years' experience in an acute healthcare setting, with 3 years in an ENT Scrub/Scout role;
• Post-graduate certificate desirable though not essential;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required;
• Availability to work across a rotating, 7-day roster.

REMUNERATION 

A base hourly rate ranging from $55.92 - $57.76 + superannuation + applicable penalty rates. Based on experience level and qualifications.
