Associate Nurse Unit Manager – Day Procedure Unit | Shepparton

Outstanding prospects exist for a motivated and proactive nurse to help drive the success of the Day Procedure Unit at a private hospital in Shepparton. This is a permanent full-time position. 

In this key leadership role, you'll work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to support the delivery of safe, high-quality care while fostering a collaborative team environment. You will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the unit, with a strong focus on leadership, clinical excellence, and supporting the team.
 
Key responsibilities include: 

• Applying advanced nursing practices in planning, implementing, and evaluating care in accordance with National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards;
• Supporting all members of the nursing team, acting as a role model and resource person within the clinical area;
• Supporting the strategic direction, operational processes, budget, and business direction of the unit and hospital;
• Contributing to staff development and team cohesion across the department;
• Overseeing staff rostering and ensuring effective allocation of resources;
• Taking on NUM responsibilities during periods of leave.

• Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in this role;
• Strong clinical skillset;
• AHPRA Registration.

REMUNERATION
$55.92-$57.76 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

The hospital, located in beautiful Goulburn Valley, is an acute surgical and medical 69-bed facility. The hospital has 3 fully equipped Operating Theatres, a High Dependency Unit, and a Day Procedure Unit. The hospital is equipped with advanced medical, surgical, and diagnostic technology.
