An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Registered Nurse to step into a leadership role within a dynamic Theatre Department as the Associate Nurse Unit Manager for Orthopaedics at a leading private hospital in Melbourne. This is a permanent full-time opportunity.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This position is ideally suited to an experienced perioperative nurse with demonstrated leadership experience or strong aspirations to progress into a management role. As ANUM, you will play a key leadership role within the department, working closely with the Perioperative Services Manager to support effective workforce planning and the management of human and equipment resources.
REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant qualifications and registration with AHPRA;
- Minimum five (5) years' acute nursing experience in Orthopaedics;
- Clinical leadership experience or post-graduate speciality qualifications will be highly regarded;
- Current clinical experience working in acute medical services;
- Demonstrated personal commitment to ongoing professional development.

REMUNERATION
On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $55.92 - $ 57.76 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, located in Melbourne, is a 70-bed surgical facility that includes 4 operating theatres, a cardiac catheterisation laboratory, a day chemotherapy, sleep study unit, an on-site pharmacy, and pathology and radiology. The wide range of specialties available includes general medicine, cancer care, cardiac care, ENT, orthopaedics, IVF and fertility, vascular care, urology, nephrology, gastroenterology, general surgery, thoracic surgery, respiratory and sleep services and plastic and reconstructive surgery.
