About the Role
As Associate Nurse Unit Manager – Robotics, you'll provide clinical leadership within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment. This role combines advanced clinical expertise in robotic-assisted surgery with operational management, ensuring the delivery of evidence-based nursing care and excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical operational direction to ensure efficient and effective unit management
  • Coordinate the delivery of evidence-based nursing care within the robotics program
  • Facilitate a learning culture to ensure continuous improvement and staff development
  • Maintain professional, constructive working relationships with visiting medical officers (VMOs) and surgical teams
  • Manage the effective daily operation of human, financial, and material resources
  • Coordinate and drive clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives
  • Undertake direct patient care as required
  • Provide mentoring and support to nursing staff
  • Ensure compliance with ACSQHC National Safety & Quality Healthcare Standards
  • Demonstrate exemplary customer service focus and positive role modelling behaviours
Essential Requirements
  • Current AHPRA Registered Nurse registration
  • Valid Working with Children check
  • Experience in Scrub Scout and Robotics (specifically robotic-assisted surgery)
  • Sound clinical knowledge and technical expertise
  • Compliance with ACSQHC National Standards
  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills
  • Positive role modelling behaviours
  • Excellent customer service focus, time management, and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Desirable Qualifications
  • Current or previous Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) experience
  • Clinical Nurse Specialist experience
