YOUR ROLE
Lead and inspire your theatre team whilst working with state-of-the-art robotic surgical technology. You'll provide clinical operational direction, coordinate evidence-based nursing care delivery, and drive quality improvement initiatives. This hands-on leadership position combines direct patient care with mentoring responsibilities, offering genuine career development in a supportive environment.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Fostering a continuous learning culture within the surgical team
- Building strong collaborative relationships with visiting medical officers
- Managing daily operations including human, financial, and material resources
- Coordinating clinical audits and quality improvement projects
- Delivering direct patient care and mentoring nursing staff
- Ensuring compliance with ACQSHC National standards
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Current AHPRA registration
- Working with Children check
- Specialised experience in scrub/scout and robotic surgery
- Previous ANUM or Clinical Nurse Specialist experience (highly desirable)
- Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills
- Exemplary communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent customer service focus with strong time management skills
