An exciting opportunity has become available for a highly motivated and experienced clinician to join the management team at a private hospital in Sydney. This is a permanent, full-time position.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Clinical Coordinator - General Surgery within the Theatre Department, you will work collaboratively with Nurse Unit Managers and clinical staff, providing hands-on clinical leadership and support to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care in accordance with best practice standards and legislative requirements. The General Surgery portfolio encompasses Upper GI, Colorectal, Endocrinology, Breast Surgery and Bariatric Surgery.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Minimum five (5) years' post-graduate nursing experience;
- Proven knowledge as a senior nurse or manager;
- Management or relevant post-graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded;
- Experience or exposure to managing clinical staff including recruitment, rostering and performance management;
- Ability to effectively plan and manage financial, human and capital resources.

The 31-bed Cardiothoracic unit provides specialised care for patients who require cardiology/cardiothoracic, CCU, or ACU interventional cardiology care.
