Clinical Nurse Educator – Perioperative | Darwin

As the Clinical Nurse Educator, your responsibilities will include:

• Assuming a leadership role in providing hands-on educational support and clinical teaching;
• Facilitating clinical learning for graduate nurses and students;
• Promoting a high standard of evidence-based nursing care to all patients;
• Disseminating current best practice knowledge;
• Ensuring staff compliance with annual Mandatory Training and the completion of all required eLearning components;
• Attending relevant policy and procedure meetings;
• Attending regular ward meetings and bi-monthly Education Meetings.

REQUIREMENTS

• Registered Nurse with Current AHPRA Registration; 
• Post Graduate Certificate in related specialty area;
• Certificate IV Workplace Assessment & Training (TAE) (or working towards);
• Educator experience in a similar role;
• Demonstrated experience in eLearning platforms;
• High degree of computer literacy including MS Office;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

REMUNERATION

$57.97 per hour
