Director of Clinical Services | Mornington Peninsula

Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve, but are not limited to:

• Providing visible clinical leadership across the Hospital and ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care;
• Partnering with the Executive Team to drive clinical strategy, operational performance and continuous improvement;
• Leading and developing high-performing clinical teams while fostering engagement, accountability and a strong culture of care;
• Strengthening clinical governance, quality systems and accreditation readiness;
• Building trusted relationships with VMOs, specialists and multidisciplinary teams to support exceptional clinical outcomes;
• Supporting workforce planning, capability development and service optimisation;
• Identifying opportunities to enhance patient experience, operational efficiency and sustainable growth.

REQUIREMENTS

• Current registration with AHPRA;
• Senior clinical leadership experience within an acute hospital or healthcare setting;
• Previous experience as a Director of Clinical Services, Associate Director of Clinical Services, or equivalent senior leadership role;
• Strong understanding of private hospital operations, clinical governance, and quality frameworks;
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive continuous improvement;
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience partnering with clinicians, VMOs, and executive leaders;
• Commercial awareness and understanding of operational performance drivers;
• Postgraduate clinical qualifications.
