ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Floor Coordinator, your responsibilities will be:
- Supporting theatre teams and VMOs in coordinating staffing, movement in the theatres, and daily operational activities;
- Complementing and supporting management within the multidisciplinary departments;
- Managing staffing allocations, replacements, and roster preparation;
- Taking on operational responsibilities in the absence of the Nurse Unit Manager;
- Promoting excellence in clinical practice and safe patient care;
- Providing leadership and support to nursing and support services in the Operating Theatres.
REQUIREMENTS
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA Registration;
- Hospital experience as a senior RN;
- Post-Grad Qualification or Floor Coordination experience desirable;
- Working with Children check;
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care;
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
REMUNERATION
$63.71 - $68.20 per hour.
