An exciting leadership opportunity awaits an experienced nursing professional to step into the role of Nurse Unit Manager within a Medical Ward at a private hospital in Melbourne, on a permanent full-time basis.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Nurse Unit Manager provides strategic clinical leadership and operational governance to drive high-quality, trauma-informed patient care, ensure strict regulatory compliance, and foster a safe, collaborative environment for both consumers and staff. As a senior member of our clinical team, you will review, plan, oversee and deliver patient care within the unit under the guidance and support of the Director of Clinical Services. This role requires clinical expertise, the ability to plan in a rapidly changing environment and supportive leadership to enable the nursing team to provide a high level of quality service and care to patients.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse;
- Minimum three (3) years' nursing experience;
- Clinical leadership experience or postgraduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded;
- Management and/or team leader experience working in large inpatient medical ward services would be an advantage.
