Exciting opportunities exist for Registered Nurses with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to join Dynamic Cath Labs with state-of-the-art equipment at a private hospital in Melbourne. Multiple permanent full-time and part-time roles are available.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering patient-centred nursing care;
- Liaising and working well with the multi-disciplinary team;
- Facilitating, supporting, and helping develop an expanding Cath lab service.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current Registration with AHPRA;
- Angiography/ Cardiac Catheter Laboratory experience (preferred);
- Post Graduate Diploma in acute care (preferred);
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care;
- Compliance with ACSQHC National standards;
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work well independently and within a team;
- Willing to be part of an on-call out-of-hours service (once orientated to the area/hospital);
- Excellent communication and customer service skills;
- Basic computer skills.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, located in Melbourne, is a fully accredited tertiary facility with 295 beds that provides Emergency Services, Intensive Care, and Cardiac Services, including a 24-hour Cardiac Cath Lab and Victoria's only Single-Site Robotic Surgery Program. The hospital has 8 surgical wards with various specialties, including cardiac, general surgery, plastics, colorectal, hepatobiliary, urology, orthopaedics, neurosurgery, and vascular surgery.
