Registered Nurse – PACU | Newcastle

You will be assisting with patients and their recovery postoperatively. Reporting to the Theatre Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital.

• Relevant registration with AHPRA;
• No minimum experience in the speciality required - transition to speciality position considered;
• Willingness to learn and expand skills in a speciality nursing area;
• Experience working across operating theatres, PARU, or in surgical nursing;
• Demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate the care delivery needs of patient;
• Exhibits exceptional customer service and time management abilities;
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive working relationships with others;
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required.
