An excellent opportunity exists for a motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join the established perioperative nursing team at a private hospital in North Newcastle. It's a permanent full-time role.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
- Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
- Ensuring patient and staff safety;
- Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members;
- Providing education and support to patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Previous scrub scout experience;
- Excellent communication and customer service skills;
- Works well within a team;
- Basic computer skills;
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.

The hospital, located in North Newcastle, is an acute medical/surgical facility providing a range of clinical services, including rehabilitation, palliative care and pain management. The hospital has one of the region leading and modern-day surgery facilities.
