Robotics Urology Coordinator | Sydney

• Coordinating and overseeing the Robotic Urology program;
• Managing and facilitating robotic surgical lists to ensure efficient theatre operations;
• Collaborating with surgeons, anaesthetists, industry representatives and theatre teams;
• Providing clinical leadership and mentorship to perioperative nursing staff;
• Promoting and participating in quality improvement initiatives;
• Supporting ongoing education, training and professional development;
• Ensuring compliance with ACORN standards and relevant legislation;
• Contributing to risk management and patient safety activities;
• Participating in a 7-day on-call roster.

REQUIREMENTS

• Current AHPRA registration;
• Postgraduate qualification in Perioperative Nursing;
• Minimum 4 years' experience as a highly competent Scrub/Scout Nurse in Urology, including robotic procedures;
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills;
• Demonstrated ability to teach, coach and support staff development;
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, on-call requirements and occasional Saturdays;
• Sound understanding of ACORN standards, risk management principles and contemporary perioperative practice.
