Outstanding chances have arisen for an exceptionally skilled Surgical Registered Nurse to become part of the 32-bed Surgical Ward at a private hospital in Sydney. There may also be an opportunity to move into a Clinical Nurse Specialist role for the right candidate.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
- Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
- Ensuring patient and staff safety;
- Providing education and support to patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs.
REQUIREMENTS
Your skills will include the following:
- Currently registered as a Registered Nurse with the AHPRA;
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience;
- Demonstrated computer literacy with email and an electronic patient record system;
- Previous experience within a private hospital setting will be well-regarded;
- Passion for delivering quality patient-centered care;
- Ability to manage shift work (including day & night shifts) over 7 days.

REMUNERATION
$35.46 - $49.79 per hour.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, located in Sydney, provides world-class, Level 5 delineation services for both public and private patients. The hospital features 488 beds, a 50-bed Emergency Department, a 20-bed general cardiothoracic ICU, 14 state-of-the-art theatres including cardiac catheter labs, a world-class education center, a doctor's lounge, excellent staff facilities, a café, and car parking. The Day of Surgery Admissions provides care to patients being admitted for a theatre procedure, whether they are being admitted for a day procedure or for a longer stay. The DOSA is a 40-bed department.
