There are roles for Recovery and Anaesthetic Nurses, Scrub/Scout Registered Nurses, and Admission Registered Nurses to deliver exceptional care across the Surgical, Theatre, and Recovery Services.

In your capacity as a Registered Nurse, you will offer patients dedicated and specialised care in alignment with the unit's core values. You will be a compassionate and adaptable nurse who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

• Current APHRA registration as a Registered Nurse;
• Minimum 2 years' in the area you are applying for;
• Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment;
• Excellent time management, interpersonal, and communication skills;
• Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases;
• A commitment to achieving high-quality clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.

REMUNERATION

$41.89 - $54.01+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances

Situated in Cairns, the hospital offers a friendly, caring, and comfortable environment for a wide range of surgical procedures that do not require an overnight stay in the hospital. The concept of day surgery is based upon minimising the disruption to the normal life. The Specialist Services include Ophthalmology / retinal surgery, Oral & maxillofacial surgery, Orthopaedic surgery, Plastic Surgery, IVF, Gynaecology, Endoscopy, Urology (including cryotherapy & lithotripsy), Ophthalmology, ENT, Pain management/treatment, Paediatric Surgery and Dermatology.
