We're recruiting an After Hours Hospital Coordinator to join a dynamic healthcare team at a leading private hospital in the Northern Territory.
About the Role
As After Hours Hospital Coordinator, you'll provide critical leadership and management of nursing operations outside standard hours. This pivotal role ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care whilst managing hospital operations and supporting nursing staff across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and maintain safe, quality patient care aligned with best practice standards
- Collaborate with Nurse Unit Managers across wards and departments
- Manage staffing allocation to ensure appropriate coverage and cost efficiency
- Coordinate patient admissions and bed management
- Oversee safety protocols for patients and hospital staff
- Provide leadership, mentorship and coaching to nursing team members
Essential Requirements
- Current AHPRA Registered Nurse registration
- Recent management experience at Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) level or above
- Proven experience in staff coordination and allocation
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Strong people leadership skills with mentorship capabilities
- High-level computer literacy including MS Office proficiency
Desirable Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in health-related discipline or management
- Knowledge of relevant Awards and Enterprise Agreements
- Experience managing special projects and portfolios
Remuneration
Competitive hourly rates from $65.17 to $75.30 based on relevant registered nursing experience, in accordance with current Enterprise Agreement provisions.
