Registered Midwife – Delivery Suite | Sydney

New opportunities await experienced Registered Midwives to join a family-friendly and supportive Maternity Team at a private hospital in Sydney. There is an availability of full-time positions with flexible working conditions.

You will work with Obstetricians and Paediatricians, and perform your specialised clinical role to ensure an exceptional level of care to mothers and babies. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated Registered Midwife to provide exceptional services during the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal episodes.

• Current Registration with APHRA as a Registered Midwife;
• Minimum 2 years' experience in Maternity;
• Demonstrated high level of competence with a proven ability to operate confidently in Delivery Suite, Antenatal and Postnatal units;
• Demonstrated collaborative and well-developed verbal and written communication skills;
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient-centred care;
• Well-developed time management skills with a high degree of initiative;
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of continuous quality improvement;
• Commitment to professional development and to a structured learning program for all staff;
• Demonstrated participation in patient education sessions within the Maternity Unit (desirable);
• Demonstrated participation in policy and procedure development (desirable).
