ROLE OVERVIEW
In this key role, you will work across various aspects of the Maternity Units, providing safe, high-quality and evidence-based care for women and their families. You need to be passionate about making a difference and thrive in a collaborative, patient-centred environment. You will utilise your clinical expertise and help shaping best practice and achieve outstanding outcomes for families in care across both the Private and Public Maternity Wards.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife;
- Minimum two years' experience in a maternity setting;
- Recent birth suite experience essential;
- Availability to work across a rotating 7-day roster;
- Excellent customer services and communication skills.

REMUNERATION
A base hourly rate between $40.24 - $52.58 + superannuation, based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

The hospital, with a total of 722 beds and bays, is the major hospital for Perth's northern corridor that provides a range of medical and surgical services, maternity services, neonatal and paediatric services, aged care, and rehabilitation. The hospital has an Emergency Department, After Hours GP Clinic, and on-site MRI. Specialties include Medical Specialties, which include General Medicine, Respiratory, Gerontology, Cardiac Services, and Stroke Services Unit. Surgical Specialities include but are not limited to General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Urology, Vascular, ENT, Paediatrics, and Gynaecology.
