Excellent opportunities exist for motivated and caring Registered Nurses to join a friendly Oncology team at a private hospital on the Mornington Peninsula.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will work in a 15-bed Medical Oncology Ward, working alongside an oncology day infusion centre, providing care throughout various stages for those with cancer.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering evidence-based nursing care, liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
- Ensuring patient and staff safety;
- Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members;
- Providing education and support to patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs;
REQUIREMENTS
- Current Registration with AHPRA;
- Experience in oncology nursing at least three years or a willingness to learn (previous oncology experience is an advantage, but not essential);
- A strong team player with excellent communication skills;
- Ability to provide holistic care in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment;
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.

REMUNERATION
On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from: $36.13 - $ 49.96 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

The hospital, located on the Mornington Peninsula, is a 205-bed facility equipped with 4 operating theatres, a high-dependency, and a short-stay unit.
