Excellent opportunities exist for Registered Nurses with ICU/Critical Care experience to join a dedicated team at a private hospital in Sydney. Multiple permanent full-time positions are available.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse, you will perform duties with the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse, and Shift Leaders' support and guidance to ensure a high level of quality service is provided across the Cardiac Services Unit.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering quality nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individual patient care;
- Providing a standard of care according to the individuals' level of experience and education;
- Maintaining high-quality nursing care within a safe environment;
- Developing and utilizing strategies that encourage an atmosphere conducive to effective communication;
- Working in partnership with patients and families in decision-making regarding the provision of care.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Critical Care environment;
- Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patients;
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment and autonomously as required;
- Advanced communication and customer service skills;
- Prior experience in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit (desirable);
- ILS/ALS/ CALS certification (desirable);
- Postgraduate certificate or similar in critical care (desirable).
REMUNERATION
On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $34.43 - $48.33 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, located in Sydney, is an acute care facility offering a comprehensive range of medical, surgical, and obstetric services. The Intensive Care Unit is a level 2 unit specialising in cardiothoracic, neurosurgical, and general surgical admissions. The unit is an accredited training facility for primary anaesthetics training, supported by Intensive care specialists and registrars. The ICU team also attends to medical emergencies throughout the hospital.
