ROLE OVERVIEW
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
- Providing exceptional care to critically ill patients and their families in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment;
- Delivering care in a 1:1 and 2:1 patient-to-nurse environment;
- Utilising advanced current and new medical equipment and technology;
- Continuing education and development programs, in a supportive learning environment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Currently registered with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency;
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Intensive Care Nursing and the holistic care of a sedated, ventilated patient;
- Proven skills in prioritising competing workloads in a complex environment;
- Superior teamwork and communication skills;
- Committed to ongoing professional learning and development.
