ROLE OVERVIEW
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
- Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
- Ensuring patient and staff safety;
- Working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs;
- Acting as a role model for Safe Practice.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience essential;
- 12 months of orthopaedic or surgical nursing experience is highly regarded;
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications will be highly regarded;
- A positive mindset and a willingness to learn new clinical skills;
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.

REMUNERATION
A base hourly rate of $40.24 - $52.58 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive or penalties or allowances

The hospital, with a total of 722 beds and bays, is the major hospital for Perth's northern corridor that provides a range of medical and surgical services, maternity services, neonatal and paediatric services, aged care, and rehabilitation. The hospital has an Emergency Department, After Hours GP Clinic, and on-site MRI. Specialties include Medical Specialties, which include General Medicine, Respiratory, Gerontology, Cardiac Services, and Stroke Services Unit. Surgical Specialities include but are not limited to General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Urology, Vascular, ENT, Paediatrics, and Gynaecology.
