Fantastic opportunities are available for a motivated Registered Nurse to work in a newly commissioned Day Oncology Unit in a private hospital in Toowoomba on a permanent part-time basis.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Your responsibilities as a Registered Nurse will include:
- Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
- Providing effective and timely admission/discharge processes and case management of patients;
- Working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs;
- Acting as a role model for Safe Practice;
- Ensuring patient and staff safety.
You will bring your passion to the role where you will work with a great team to support quality patient care. This role will be part-time and will be pivotal in delivering quality services to our patients and visitors in a caring, friendly atmosphere.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse;
- Minimum experience 3 years in oncology and chemotherapy administration;
- Effective communication skills at all levels, enabling you to achieve best practice;
- Recent experience in the speciality area, and appropriate qualifications and registration;
- Understanding of the importance of providing quality care;
- Well-developed interpersonal skills that provide the support and nurture for the patients and the organisation's needs.
