Experienced and committed Anaesthetic Registered Nurses have the chance to become part of the established team in Endoscopy at a private hospital in Brisbane, where exciting full-time and part-time opportunities are available. Shift times for this role vary including 6 and 10-hour day shifts starting at 6:30 am, 8-hour evening shifts starting at 12:30 pm, and an option for twilight evening shifts from 17:00 pm-21:00 pm. On-call duties are required on weeknights and weekends.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
  • Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
  • Ensuring patient and staff safety;
  • Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) to deliver patient care;
  • Delivering education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Current Registration with AHPRA;
  • Bachelor of Science (nursing) or equivalent;
  • Minimum 2 years of graduate experience in Anaesthetics;
  • Commitment to Quality Patient Care;
  • Relevant postgraduate qualification;
  • Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills;
  • Works well independently and within a team;
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National Standards.

REMUNERATION

A salary ranges from $38.60 - $51.55 per hour, based on your years of relevant experience.

Situated in Brisbane, the hospital is a 181-bed facility that specialises in delivering exceptional care across various medical fields, including orthopedics, neurosurgery, spinal surgery, plastics, urology, ear, nose, and throat, general surgery, as well as drug and alcohol rehabilitation. Conveniently positioned on the outskirts of the CBD, the hospital offers excellent accessibility via public transportation.
