An excellent opportunity exists for a highly skilled and self-motivated Perioperative Registered Nurse looking to continue developing management skills as part of an already motivated and achieving Perioperative Management team to become part of the newly established, innovative, state-of-the-art hospital located in Melbourne. 

ROLE DETAILS
As the Associate Nurse Unit Manager:
  • You will facilitate the smooth operation of the Perioperative Services Department with a can-do attitude and strong customer service focus;
  • Apply advanced nursing practices in planning, implementing, and evaluating care in accordance with National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards;
  • Provide a support role to all members of the nursing team, acting as a role model and resource person within the clinical area.;
  • You will provide leadership and direction to the department to compliment the strategic direction, operational processes, budget, and business direction of the unit and hospital.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Current registration with AHPRA;
  • Sound knowledge of the ACORN Professional Standards;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously;
  • Ability to ensure excellence in customer service;
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and negotiation skills with the ability to think critically and prioritize workloads;
  • Strong desire to successfully enhance team performance and experience.

REMUNERATION

52.90$ - 54.70$ per hour.

Providing services close to home and delivering excellent patient outcomes for local residents. The hospital's features include 4 operating theatres, an endoscopy suite, 24 Bed Day Surgery, a 30-bed medical and surgical ward, including high-dependency beds, 21-bed women's mental health inpatient unit, mental health day programs, outpatient services, a permanent and sessional specialist consulting suites, on-site Diagnostic services and sleep study facilities.
