Clinical Nurses – Mental Health | Rockhampton

The successful candidates will have the opportunity to further develop their leadership capability in an organisation committed to its people and the provision of high-quality care and positive patient outcomes.

As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
• Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
• Ensuring patient and staff safety;
• Delivering education and support to patients for the management of their health recovery.

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse;
• At least 3 years of inpatient experience in an acute mental health environment;
• Experience with mental health risk assessment;
• Strong leadership background and a professional approach to people management;
• Experience with coordination and delivery of mental health education;
• The ability to mentor and upskill staff, including assessment and support for undergraduate students;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Post-graduate Mental Health Qualifications (desirable).

REMUNERATION

On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $52.86 - $56.83 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
