ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
- Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
- Ensuring patient and staff safety;
- Delivering education and support to patients for the management of their health recovery.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse;
- At least 3 years of inpatient experience in an acute mental health environment;
- Experience with mental health risk assessment;
- Strong leadership background and a professional approach to people management;
- Experience with coordination and delivery of mental health education;
- The ability to mentor and upskill staff, including assessment and support for undergraduate students;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Post-graduate Mental Health Qualifications (desirable).
REMUNERATION
On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $52.86 - $56.83 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
