An excellent opportunity exists for an ANUM/After-Hours Coordinator offering a combined total of 60 hours per fortnight at a private hospital in Melbourne.
ABOUT THE ROLE
In the After-Hours Coordinator role, you are accountable for efficient and effective operational management of the team to ensure safe patient care and outstanding quality patient outcomes, after normal business hours.
In the ANUM role, you will work across two of the wards: a 20-bed surgical ward with 4 HDU beds, as well as the 11-bed surgical unit that accepts some medical admissions.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- To be successful you will need to be available to work a 7-day rotating roster across primarily evenings/nights, and weekends.
- Minimum 3 years of postgraduate experience within Acute Care;
- CCU/HDU experience is highly desirable;
- Proficient in ALS essential;
- Demonstrated ability to be an effective role model in the area of clinical practice;
- Sound Computer skills in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook);
- Post-grad studies are not necessary but highly regarded.

The hospital, located in Melbourne, is an acute 72-bed Surgical and Medical facility in Hampton's bayside suburb. The facility has 3 Operating Theatres, 2 Procedure Rooms, a Day Surgery unit, and a 4 bed High Dependency unit. It also offers on-site Radiology and Pathology services, Physiotherapy services, and busy specialist consulting suites. A comprehensive range of services is provided, including Breast Surgery, ENT, Gastrointestinal Surgery, General Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Urology, and Vascular Surgery.
