A thrilling chance is available for a dynamic individual with a background in healthcare and experience in quality improvement and management to join the team at a private hospital in Perth. It is a permanent full-time opportunity.

ROLE OVERVIEW
Key functions include to:
  • Facilitate ongoing implementation and monitoring of the Hospital/Facility quality improvement program and promote risk management to support the strategic direction;
  • Lead all accreditation processes;
  • Provide effective leadership in quality and risk management to assist Managers to continuously review their practices;
  • Participation in clinical data collection, collation, and analysis;
  • Participate and coordinate case review investigations;
  • Coach and consult with Managers in quality improvements to build capacity and capability.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Hold Tertiary qualifications in a clinical discipline (such as nursing) and registration with appropriate Australian authorities such as AHPRA;
  • Have a Knowledge of the ACHS Accreditation System against the National Standards (NSQHS);
  • Be proficient in the use of MS Office Suite, particularly in the use of Word and Excel.

ABOUT THE FACILITY

The hospital, located in Perth, is a 224-bed private facility that provides Acute Surgical, Medical and Rehabilitation, and Coronary and Intensive Care Services. The Operating Theatre department consists of 10 theatres (including a Hybrid) covering a range of specialities, including cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, general, vascular, and plastic reconstructive surgery.
