Registered Nurse – Cath Lab Recovery | Townsville

An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and qualified Cath Lab Recovery Registered Nurse to join the Day Procedure team working across Endoscopy, Day Infusions, and Cath Lab at a private hospital in Townsville. This position is permanent and part-time.

As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
• Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
• Ensuring patient and staff safety;
• Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members;
• Providing education and support to patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs.

 

As a trained recovery nurse with experience preferred in recovering Cardiac Cath lab cases, you will have a strong work ethic, and self-motivation and be able to adapt quickly to changing environments as we work together to deliver first-class services. Alongside your caring and engaging manner, you will have a positive attitude and strong communication skills allowing you to engage with the patients and their families.

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA;
• Experience preferred but not necessary in either Cath lab or Endoscopy recovery areas

REMUNERATION

Salary range: $34.84 - $37.10 per hour plus superannuation and salary packaging.
